WOW! My Kindle Reader arrived #BloggerDreamTeam (Harsha Bhogle) Winner.

I won the blogmint #BloggerDreamTeam Contest on March this year, during the WC 2015. The topic of the contest was to write a Blog post on Fashion and Cricket - How Fashion has been Influenced by our Cricketers - "Have Our Cricketers Become More Fashion Conscious? " I was one the 900+ entries to Blogmint and to my surprise I was selected as the weekly winner and among the Top 11 contestants by Harsha Bhogle. I was gifted with a Social Influencer Cup, #BloggerDreamTeam Cricket Bat Trophy which is actually quite beautiful to look at...

I was also waiting for the results of Top 3 Bloggers of the country and to my surprise not three but all the Top 11 Bloggers were declared as Winners. The prize was a Kindle Reader!! I was so glad to know that I won one and since last three months I was waiting for the kindle to come.. In fact I almost lost the hope that I would ever get it. Its not that I could buy one for me but when you win something the feeling is totally different.

I got a call a four days back from Blogmint that my Kindle will be finally shipped out to me and on August 13th 2015, I finally got my Kindle. Wow!! it's a beauty and now I can read while I travel and store all my favourite books on my kindle. You can read in the sun and the screen does not glare. It has a build in dictionary and wikipedia from which you can take reference with when you are confused about the exact meaning of the word, just make sure you connected to WiFi or 3G, 4G. You can also increase the font according to your convenience so that you can read without squinting.

Goodbye hair problems. Switch to Vatika Enriched Coconut Oil!

Don’t you just hate this humid weather of Delhi just before the monsoons? It’s raining so hard in the southern India however we north Indians are so deprived of the rains; above all it’s so humid and sweaty!

I have generally seen that every year during the summer and monsoon season women of Delhi prefer to get a cut or keep their hair short like a blunt cut to beat the heat even before they could have tried the new summer trends in Hairstyle?

Many women just chop off their hair as they think that it maintain long hair consumes a lot of their time like detangling and also a lot of money has to spent on hair fall treatments and spas which increases their monthly expenses. Many women in summers want to save up their money as almost every family wants to go on a summer vacation abroad or to a coastal region or Shimla to beat the heat.

I was just one of these women keep hair short, apply conditioner and easy to maintain but there are so many beautiful kind of hair plaits and hairstyles that I could have experimented with, like long fishtail braid, side braid, French or how about a half bun all these years when I had short hair but this was before "I came across to the little genie bottle of Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil" and I really wish if these women had their hands on it too or I could have met them before they chopped their hair off.

Ethnic Look for Raksha Bandhan, With Golden Anklets.

Rakhi, commonly called "Raksha Bandhan" is one of the most popular festivals of India. The Rakhi festival is a celebration of the pure and sacred bond between brothers and sisters. 'Raksha Bandhan' or 'Rakhi' is a very special day for brothers and sisters, when the sister celebrates her emotional bonding by tying a holy thread around the wrist of her brother. This thread, which symbolizes love and care, is called the 'Rakhi'. "Rakhi" means the bond of protection.

The Rakhi festival is observed on the full moon day of the Hindu month of Shravan. On this auspicious day sisters tie the sacred Rakhi on their brothers' right wrists and pray for their long life. Though the Raksha Bandhan has the same significance and meaning but it is celebrated in different forms in different parts of India. On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, different kinds of Rakhis are available in the market. Some Rakhis are made of silken, golden and silver threads and studded with semi precious stones, while the others are simple and sober with just a piece of string.

Since, Rakhi is on Saturday 29th of August 2015, All Hindu sisters in India and around the world will be tying a Rakhi on their brothers wrist and pray for their long life. So, in the festival mood I wrote this post and tried on my new  pink kurti from Ayaany, loved the fabric and fitting  and I have also posted some pictures of Anklets as it was highly requested by fans and followers.

An Evening With Zoya The Exquisite Diamond Boutique

It was beautiful Saturday evening with light monsoon showers  and I was invited to an exclusive event “An Evening With Zoya Jewels”. Zoya is an exquisite diamond boutique by Tata India. Only at Linking Road, Mumbai and M Block Market GK 1, New Delhi.

I think we all know that Tanishq is also by Tata, they are my favourite jewellers but Zoya is a league ahead... What is ZOYA? In simple words I can say that they are the Harry Winston of India. A Luxury Outlet of fine jewellery. Everything that you find at Zoya Boutique is exclusive and regal, their craftsmanship and design are totally unique, and in simple words you will not find these jewels in any Tanishq Outlet.

The evening begin with a warm welcome and with snacks and beverages. One of Zoya representative joined to me to make me familiar with the brand and its exquisite jewels. The first display window was the Banaras collection, very similar to one that we can see in Banaras add of Zoya and more about the collection was explained to me,  I was mesmerized by the jewels and I could not stop taking pictures. I was holding a lemonade glass  with my left hand and taking pictures with the right, it was serious fun!

Need Supplies or Groceries? Peppertap App delivers in under 2 Hours.

I love shopping online and I really enjoy it, I purchase all my Clothes from Myntra, Jabong and Flipkart. About a two years back I prefered shopping from Select City Mall and Ambiance Mall in Delhi.  In case I wanted to cook continental food, I preferred shopping from the mall itself for example Ricotta, Parmesen or Pizza Cheese and Pasta. Since I live in South Delhi I prefered the friendly Gourmet Store’s in Defence colony or Haus Khaz Market.  Quality of the food item matter to me, I am sure it is also the most important thing on your list too.

I purchased all my personal care products from market and from few  websites however I was very dissapointed from them as they delivered all the products in 3-4 days sometimes they even took a week, What if there is an emergency ?  You can’t keep on waiting for 3 days if you want to cook a receipe for guests  who just arrived as a surprise or on short notice? Shopping for personal care products was not good experience for me online, so I prefered shopping in the market also for the groceries I prefered going directly to the Market, “Product Ki Quality Ka Online Kaise Pata Chalega?”.

What if you just ran out of Soap when you want to take a bath and never got to time to shop as were busy the entire day in the office and  you are tired as you just got back after suffering a two hour traffic jam?
